Aftercare Advice

SPMU

Semi-permanent make-up aftercare is extremely important and the success of the treatment relies on it to a great extent, so please follow instructions advised.

Swelling may appear for the first 24 hours, please do not worry as this can distort the appearance of your treatment.

The first 3 days following your treatment we ask for you to apply a thin layer of the aftercare cream you’ve been provided with once a day, avoiding any other products.

Ensure no other products, creams or cleansers touch the area for the following 14 days after treatment. We also advise avoiding any water and suggest a facecloth to wash your face around the area treated.

We ask you not to use swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms or sun beds for 14 days post treatment however recommend that they are completely healed (no scabbing) for maximum results.

Due to the healing process, your semi permanent make up will shed and is likely to scab with a lightened appearance underneath. Please do not pick and allow the area to heal. Within the following days of healing the pigment will resurface and darken.

Following your healed semi-permanent treatment, please wear an SPF on the area to avoid fading and discolouring.

A top-up treatment is required 4-6 weeks after initial treatment, this is included in the price.

A colour boost treatment is advised every 12-18 months.
